Akvile is currently managing the Junior Professional Programme (JPP) “Create for Lithuania”, which was launched by the Lithuanian Government in September 2012. Its primary goal is to attract talented Lithuanians with foreign experience and education back to Lithuania and to employ their skills in the public sector. Theprogramme provides young professionals with an opportunity to work with significant state projects and jump-start their career in Lithuania. As Project Manager at Invest Lithuania, Akvile also takes part in the coordination of several initiatives aimed at improving the supply of qualified specialists that are in highest demand in Lithuania and tackling youth unemployment issues.

Akvile has spent 5 years working as Human Resources Consultant, specializing in the areas of recruitment, talent development and HR project management. She holds a MSc degree in Strategic Management of International Business from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.
